Mizrahi Celebrates 21 Years
Oct 24, 2008

Mizrahi, Inc., celebrating 21 years in business this month, has changed its name from Mizrahi Design Associates to Mizrahi, Inc. to reflect the company's evolution from a communication planning and design firm to a creative marketing communications firm that solves business problems through integrated services of strategy, branding, design and communications.

"Historically, we were engaged to work on key design projects," explains Laurie Mizrahi, CEO and president of the firm. "However, as we worked closely with decision makers, CEOs and CFOs, we often identified that the business need was strategic planning, communications programs or integrated marketing. As our role became broader and more valuable, we were able to leverage our business and creative expertise to balance strategy with effective communication and deliver authentic solutions and successful outcomes for our clients. More than 90 percent of our clients are repeat clients and an even higher percentage of our new business is referred to us by existing clients."

Mizrahi is located in downtown Pittsburgh and employs 10 professionals specializing in strategic planning, branding, design, interactive media, and investor communications. The firm's senior leaders have extensive experience and education and are graduates of Leadership Pittsburgh and the Entrepreneurial Fellows Center at the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.

For more than 20 years Mizrahi has put ideas to work for corporate and non-profit clients – large and small, global and local, established and emerging – including some of the best and biggest brands in the world. Pittsburgh Business Times features Mizrahi lobby decor
Jul 1, 2008

Mizrahi, inc. (formerly Mizrahi Design associates) was recently featured in a Pittsburgh Business Times article, “Accidental Marketing: Lobby Decor Leaves Lasting First Impression.”

“Most business people know the value of making a good first impression in the workplace: dress conservatively at job interviews, don't say anything negative about past employers, and proof resumes and cover letters for typos.

The same "you'll-never-get-a-second-chance-to-make-a-first-impression" rules should apply when designing or decorating the work space, architects say.

Of critical importance: the reception area, or lobby.’
